Have you noticed that everybody is selling the same things this time of year? Its all about the good old outdoors and thats okay. However, there is so much of the same thing that is can get really frustrating. It just makes me want to not go anywhere at all or look at anything. After all, who wants to shop that way?

I had been reading about shopping on the internet but hadnt had the nerve to try it until I got mad at the selection at local store. Once I started shopping this way, I have never gone back to the old fashion way of doing things though there are a few tricks you should know.

I think everyone starts out looking at the sites that sell the one and only thing youre looking for. I like some of them but it is very time consuming doing the research on every one off internet ecommerce shops. Not only do you want to know the prices but you better find out about their customer service and if they have a secured checkout as well. You do this for multiple shops and your weekend is gone!

Going to the super store or the site that has everything under the sun can also be daunting and you are under the impression that they have the lowest prices though that is not always true. That doesnt mean they dont have a lot of choices. But for most of there items, you can go there and just picked it up so its not different things, just the same old things.

There is another type of ecommerce website that many, including me, prefer to shop at. These sites are broadly focused on things such as gardening; games, kitchens, appliances, etc. They give you great variety and prices and once you find a good one and have researched it, you have a great resource in that arena.

What is so great about shopping this way is you have an ecommerce store you like doing business with that has good prices, good customer service, a good selection of the things you are looking for and secured checkout. You will be able to find sites that are about everything outdoors; camping, hunting and fishing, travel, kids clothes and just about anything else you can think of.

If you are prone to find the best price every time you shop online you may want to rethink that position. Dont get me wrong, no one wants to pay more than something is worth. I just know that many low price sites do not have ample people to provide good customer service. When you find a great place to shop, be willing to pay a little more for great service.

I have had great experiences this spring with purchasing some raised beds and vinyl storage shed from the same online company. Their supplier for the raised beds was behind schedule and I emailed them to let them know it was a gift and needed to be there on a certain day. They canceled the order and found another supplier who could get a comparable order there on time at the same price. That is service and the best way to shop for outdoor stuff!
